When the Jaw Becomes Too Narrow
Wisdom teeth are a relic from our ancestors. In the modern, often somewhat smaller jaw, these latecomers today frequently lack the space to align themselves straight in the dental arch.
- •Tooth Displacement: When wisdom teeth attempt to break through, they can exert high pressure and shift previously straight teeth (for example, after orthodontic treatment).
- •Chronic Inflammation: A wisdom tooth that has only partially emerged often forms hard-to-clean pockets – a common cause of recurring, painful gum inflammation.
- •Risk to the Neighbouring Tooth: If the wisdom tooth lies sideways in the jaw, it can press against the root of the adjacent tooth and damage it in the long term.
Timely removal prevents these problems before pain or actual damage to the dentition occurs.

Calm, Precise, and Careful
At MEDICAL ART, we always work with the goal of protecting the surrounding gum tissue and jawbone as much as possible during removal. For this, we use digital 3D X-ray technology (DVT/CBCT).
With this three-dimensional image, we can identify the exact course of the fine nerve pathways in the lower jaw beforehand and know precisely how the tooth roots are positioned. This knowledge supports a careful and targeted surgical approach.

Why Surgery at Our Clinic?
Three-Dimensional Planning
Through the DVT scan, we know the anatomical characteristics of your jaw before the operation, making the procedure more predictable and plannable.
Gentle Surgical Technique
Our medical team works in a minimally invasive manner. A careful approach directly supports the body in a complication-free healing phase.
Supportive Pain Management
Whether with local anaesthesia or general anaesthesia – the procedure is generally low in discomfort.
Focus on Wound Healing
We carefully suture the small wound and, upon request, offer supportive autologous blood procedures (PRF) to gently promote natural wound healing.

The Steps of Tooth Removal
Diagnostics & Consultation
We review your X-ray images and assess whether a wisdom tooth really needs to be removed or whether it has space to grow healthily.
Discussing the Procedure
We calmly discuss how many teeth should be removed at once and which form of anaesthesia is most comfortable for you.
The Operation
The wisdom tooth is gently released from the jaw under effective anaesthesia. Upon request, we use biological fibrin (PRF) to promote healing.
The Healing Phase
We provide you with precise tips for the first few days. After approximately one week, we see you again for a brief wound check.
Treatment in a Calm Atmosphere
The thought of 'having teeth pulled' is associated with anxiety and worry for most people. We know that. At the MEDICAL ART clinic, we therefore place particular emphasis on a calm, empathetic atmosphere. If you have significant concerns, we are happy to offer you the procedure accompanied by our anaesthesia team under proven, specialist-supervised general anaesthesia.
Mehr zu unseren Comfort-Optionen →A well-planned tooth extraction is today a calm routine procedure. Our aspiration is that you leave the practice with a good feeling.
